Objective:
In this project, we are going to use two programs for editing photos, which are Photoshop and iPhoto. Those programs will help us to make a calendar for kindergarten students to let the parents understand the monthly plan for their child. The monthly plan will be taken from the school in Dubai. The name of the school is School of Modern Skills.
Reasons:
I think iPhoto is a good program because a lot of children loss or forget their papers in the school. On the other hand, most of the students are visual learning. Therefore, my goal is to improve the monthly plans that made by the instructor in the way that the parents and the students can understand in an easily way. And to abounded the plan book that they gave the child. We are interested in this program because when I see the students in the kindergarten sector they are still kids and they do not take this situation in a real way. For instance, my nephew is a kindergarten student and he always forgets his papers in the school. That means kindergarten students are still small for having this responsibility. Hence, this idea of making a monthly plan calendar came to my mind because of my nephew and we were interest in making it.
Audience:
My audiences are the teachers, parents and the kindergarten students. So that, this project, is for the education sector.
Overview:
We choose those programs Photoshop and iPhoto to make a calendar that can be understand in an easily way for all the people in different ages (adult & children). In Photoshop we are going to edit each picture and write some notes on the photo and making banner for the school to make it useful. In iPhoto we are going to make a monthly calendar that have a visual appearance with colorful words and photos that make the children exiting for what is coming in the semester. Also it includes what must be done in each day. We will make one month plan which is November 2010. The plan will include the schedule, curriculum, PE, homework, and the free days.
